Man arrives in St. Kitts aboard missing fishing boat from Antigua

The boat reported stolen in Antigua is reportedly in St. Kitts and Nevis.

 

St. Kitts police are investigating the arrival of fishing boat in the Federation mid-morning Tuesday with a single occupant carrying a suitcase.

 

They believe this is the same vessel stolen from Perry Bay in Antigua between Monday night and Tuesday morning of this week.

 

Superintendent Cromwell Henry of the St Kitts and Nevis Police says the boat came ashore at Lime Kiln about 10:30 Tuesday morning and the lone occupant ran off into the community with a suitcase.

 

The Coast Guard and Police rushed to the area where they found the abandoned boat.

 

They searched the area in vain for the illegal immigrant, who police say possibly came from Antigua.

 

The vessel was seized by the Coast and police say they are sparing no effort in searching for the occupant.

  3. I wonder if this is the same man that used a stolen boat from Perry Bay to steal 2 boats from Carlisle Bay by pulling up their anchors, tied a rope to their bows, then pulled them out to sea and ended up crash in a catermaran🤣

  7. I read the story in a St.Kitts on line medium.I had to laugh.It is so funny.The man came a shore in St.Kitts.He ditched the boat took his suitcase and ran like hell.The Police and Coast Guard were looking for him.I say,good luck to them.
