Man accused of stealing from Prime Minister’s son to be tried in the high court

A man accused of stealing from the Prime Minister’s son will have to answer to the charge in the High Court.

 

Robert Santana is facing a Larceny charge for allegedly stealing materials belonging to Gaston Browne Jr.

 

The materials valued at $15,940 were reportedly stolen at a property in Paynter’s village on August 11, 2020.

 

The matter was committed to the September assizes, meaning Santana’s case could come up anytime after the start of the court session beginning in September.

  2. What is he doing with material in Paynter’s village? Was he building government houses there. I know his father says he Gaston is a builder.

    • You do know his father before becoming PM, developed a housing project in Paynters? Former MP (under the UPP) Chester Huighes currently lives in one. You did here his father state he turned over his biz to his children?

      • Yes his father said he built 100 houses and made $100,000 per house. Tell me, is his son involved in the construction of houses for the government and making millions? I have always wondered why Gaston was rushing to build so many houses. People are complaining about the substandard construction of these houses. Remember there are a lot of contractors that haven’t been paid for years by this government.
        I wish the people of Antigua would wake up and realize that Gaston would probably not hesitate to find any and all schemes to enrich himself and family.

  3. So what if Chester Hughes lives in one.Did he pay for it? Or did he get it for free? That housing development was a disaster. A cousin of mine had one built. It was a nightmare to get it finished. It had more delays than LIAT.LOL.

  4. What about all the lands and taxes world dictator traitor tyrant liar thief HT bully Gaston Browne and his cesspool gang have stolen from we the people and our nation?

    All of them need to be brought to justice as well. They are not above the law.

    They too are involved with abduction, kidnapping murder and human trafficking HT. Look at cases of Nigel Christian and Mehul Choksi.

    Oh, my bad. The young lady reported the matter to the Police. They found out it was him and the matter died right there.
    Keep going like you’re going, junior. Daddy will always be there to walk you out of the lock-up.
