Man Accused of Scalding Sister Granted Bail

A man accused of scalding his sister with hot water, leading to her hospitalization, was granted bail in court.

The incident occurred on October 29 along Valley Road near the Bolans playing field. Following the attack, his sister received medical care and treatment.

Jeffrey’s bail includes strict conditions, such as a $10,000 bail with a $3,000 cash component, providing two Antiguan sureties, surrendering travel documents, reporting to a police station three days a week, maintaining a 50-foot distance from his sister, and avoiding communication or interaction with her.

Jeffrey’s next court hearing is scheduled for January 24.
