The Government of Antigua and Barbuda will hold a press conference on 2 May 2019 with His Excellency Gaston Browne, Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, from 8:30 a.m. – 10: a.m., on the upcoming “Play it Out” Concert, to be held in Antigua on 1 June 2019.
Along with Machel Montano and Prime Minister Browne, the Hon. Molwyn Joseph, Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment and the Hon. Darryl Matthew, Minister of Sports, Culture, National Festivals and the Arts will be in attendance in support of the campaign to tackle plastic pollution.

God Bless our great visionary Prime Minister. Only he saw if fit to invite the entire world to come to Antigua and the world has rePonded. Now our small little Island will be the sPotlight in all the world on June 1st. No amount of advertising could Pay for that. PerhaPs Lovell and the Movement want to take this oPPortunty to Picket at Heritage Quay. They can be assured they will have world coverage.
I don’t remember Gaston Browne being the instigator of getting rid of plastics…Was this not the ingenuity of Molwyn Joseph? Gaston Browne is the one, to the best of my memory, who allowed and has continued to allow YIDA Zhang and the Chinese to destroy Antigua and Barbuda’s precious environment. I hope the Movement and the Faithful Nationals do get full exposure so that the world can see the destructive hypocrisy and political subservience to the Chinese that is happening and consequently destroying Antigua on a daily basis. The Westernized world needs to know that the majority of we, the (Antigua) people are NOT supportive of the destruction.
