  2. Thats why upp created this compulsory gap in time for school children ensuring they can’t apply for citizenship as soon as they finish school? The Ablp upon taking office realised what the upp did and offered amnesty for those person and created a path to citizenship. In 2004 upp fooled non-nationals with the millennium citizenship that was actually fraud- the Millennium Citizens could pass on citizenship to they children under 18 nor their husband or wife after the 3 years stipulated in the citizenship act. The ABLP came to power in 2014 and converted those millennium fraud citizenship to real citizenship in 2016……..

    Now who uses non nationals?

  3. King Lyadd Lovell strikes again!!! It is a well known fact that UPP detests “foreigners”. They always blame “foreigners” when they lose an election. The UPP hates “foreigners” so much that they don’t want Richard Lewis to be leader simply because his wife is Jamaican. Who can forget the utterances by former UPP member Bruce Goodwin regarding “…paupers in Jamaica…” UPP don’t like “foreigners” point blank period!!! Lovell mind you tongue nah jap out you head.

  5. Who does this Lovell person think he is fooling?? He think the people were in a coma and just woke up?? The more this Lovell person speaks, the more evident it is that he has no idea what he is about! UPP does not embrace non-nationals. Everybody knows that.

    • Or maybe they could put the Honourable Leader of Her Majesty’s Loyal Opposition in charge of the party. Charles Taylor might be a good choice, too. Its just too late to bring Sir Baldwin out of retirement. Poor Lovell. He finish.

  11. I am tired of hearing about non nationals. Do you have more rights than native born? Which other Caribbean country do we hear of non nationals being given prominence? As a matter of fact how many are encouraging non nationals in their country like Antigua does? A government that depends on pandering to non nationals to stay in power is not concerned with the betterment of the country but rather with staying in power by any means necessary, so they can continue their enrichment schemes.
    You non nationals can continue to vote for a corrupt, thieving government because they use you for votes.
    Every country has immigration laws, even Antigua. I just wish Antiguan immigration laws would be enforced and the labour government would stop allowing all kinds of criminals in the country to fill up the ghettos.

  12. MELCHESIDEC it looks as if you have forgotten that just a few weeks ago ANR was carrying every word that Gaston uttered on his Saturday show on Pointe FM. While some of it was newsworthy, the vast majority of what he said was pure nonsense and could be ignored. I did not hear any complaints from you then. It is not that ANR is now the mouthpiece for the UPP, it is just that the leader Harold Lovell is commenting more frequently on national issues and much of what he says is very newsworthy.
