As the United Progressive Party (UPP) commences its 12th Biennial Convention under the theme “Together in Unity: Forward to Victory,” Harold Lovell, Chair of the Convention Planning Committee, has emphasized the crucial importance of unity within the party.
In a recent statement, Lovell highlighted the significance of a cohesive team in achieving collective greatness and success.
“Convention Week is here, and we are extremely excited about the opportunity to share our vision with members and supporters who are the heart of our Party,” stated Lovell. “A team that works together finds greatness together, and this promises to be an unforgettable experience.”

You and the Honourable Baldwin Spencer virtually made the UPP an electable and viable party, and Antiguans are very grateful for that.
UPP now have a strong and vibrant team that will take us to the next level and further, and notwithstanding, also restore the country’s worldwide respect.
It won’t be easy though your Honourable Harold Lovell, especially with a Prime Minister that deflects from his own shortcomings/misgivings and will always play dirty when it comes to dealing with an ever growing and strong opposition.

I cannot believe UPP is speaking about UNITY. A couple of weeks ago ALL UPP members of Parliament stabbed Pringle in the back , sides and all over His body. Quite sure the wounds are still showing. This is what UPP call unity.

Yes Lovell ‘lost’ because GASTON out of his bad breath ‘mouth’ admitted to transferring voters between constituencies to enable his candidates to win and caused the UPP to lose.

The Antiguan voted the Labour Party out of office during the last election, but the dishonest dictator stole the election. He said so out of his own mouth. He should not be sitting in parliament as no prime minister but should be in jail. Pringle was never elected the UPP leader. He became leader he was the only one to win his seat. Has the Labour Party ever won a free and fair election? The same Pringle that you hypocrites use to criticize has now become you and Gaston’s darling. Gaston is now after Richard Lewis but Lewis will be the next leader of UPP and the next prime minister. Gaston is afraid of a Lewis win of the leadership, as Lewis is not afraid of him and surpasses him in intellect. I can never understand why some of you support the Labour Party when you are catching hell and cannot afford to buy food with the high cost of living and your meagrely wage. All you supporters should go buy a taxi as they are the only people the Labour Party say is making millions. Gaston said on his Saturday radio show he knows one taxi driver with millions in the bank. How does he know what is in the man’s bank account? Is he spying on Antiguans bank accounts?
