The leader of the United Progressive Party Harold Lovell says he foresees victory in St. John’s City East.

He is confident that after losing the last two elections to incumbent Melford Nicholas, he will be returned to the Lower House.

  7. As the party leader, a more profound statement would be “I will be the next PM of this great country. Where is the confidence? Seems like the PL is saying what each and every candidate is expected to say when interviewed. Would be too sad if the party win the election and you loose your constituency. Wonder if there are plans in place for the unexpected?

    • Please publish the poll from Anna that says the UPPITES will win 10 seats. Which ones are they and the names of constituencies?   10. After this election day, please people, take some precautions and have an ambulance stationed outside Lovell’s home or wherever he is. The shock may be too hard for him to take. And I really do not wish death on my opponents.
