Loose Cannon has been named the 2024 People’s Choice Award winner for Antigua and Barbuda’s Restaurant Week, earning top marks from both locals and visitors.
The announcement was made by the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, which described the award as a celebration of the country’s rich culinary talent.
“Restaurant Week is about celebrating authentic flavours,” said Shermain Jeremy, Culinary Month Lead and Events Manager. “We’re proud to honour Loose Cannon and thank the public for voting.”
Known for its lively atmosphere and island-inspired cuisine, Loose Cannon welcomed the recognition with gratitude.
“This means the world to us,” said Head Chef Bernardino David III. “It’s even more special knowing it comes from the people we serve.”
As the 2025 edition of Restaurant Week concludes, voting for next year’s People’s Choice Award opens on 28 May. Diners who took part in this year’s event, held from 4 to 22 May, are encouraged to cast their votes at: https://bit.ly/peopleschoiceaward2025.

All these people who voted for Loose Cannon must love eating yards away from nasty pipes that spew pollution onto the beach, the same beach which has given them the edge over other restaurants. DCA nowhere to be found. Same ol’, same ol’. Government ministries are a dime a dozen, but half of them don’t do their job. It’s a joke!
