Aspiring musician Rico Spencer is setting waves locally with the release of a collaboration riddim project that hit digital music streaming platforms last Friday.
The “No Manners Riddim” is a ten plus riddim project produced by Island Trap & Global Studios and he said, “it is set to be the biggest riddim project released for the year.” The riddim features many major regional and local artiste including Lybran ‘Rum Boss’, International Jamaican Artist as well as upcoming Kittian artiste Byron Messiah and local artiste like Pipa, Niqko Wyld West and upcoming artist Yung Boss, StammaShat, Melly 41, Chulo, Island Boi and many others lending their vocals to the production.
Spencer, who is no stranger to the music industry is an artiste and music engineer who is the founder of Global Studios.
He said, “I collaborated with Braffers Records to release this highly anticipated riddim project and I worked alongside Gotti of Island Trap Records who produced the instrumental as well as Raul “Lord Shellington” Samuel who played an integral part in making this project a reality.”
This release he said comes under Braffers Records and the highly anticipated riddim adds to his growing riddim catalogue. His studio he said, has worked with many local artistes including upcoming Artist Humroy Wright, Jay Abnormal, Color Color and other local, regional, and international artist. Global Studios has also worked along with DJ Quest on his Dancehall album ‘Home Grown’ recording, mixing, and mastering ‘Rude Boy Riddim’ on that project.
The ‘No Manners Riddim’ project saw tracks mixed and mastered by Spencer and Gotti and is available on Audiomack, Apple Music, Spotify and on the Braffers Records platform.
Spencer said, “Global Studios is the home of Antigua’s new generation and of talent and dancehall music and is set to make major moves as they navigate the industry.”
