Police Commissioner Atlee Rodney has conceded little advancement in the ongoing investigations of two double murders that rocked Antigua and Barbuda last year.
The tragic incidents, occurring in July and September 2022, left both communities stunned and led to a rise in crime.
Despite immediate police efforts, both cases remain unresolved, with no significant developments.
Rodney urged the public’s cooperation and emphasized the cases’ importance, urging any information to be shared.
He underscored the ongoing trauma experienced by victims’ families and the hope for closure.

How many unsolved murders; how many unsolved crimes does it take to have a shakeup at the police department?
Police Commissioner, what happen, nobody coming forward with information to solve this crime for you? Enquiring minds would like to know. Maybe you should invite Scotland Yard to come and investigate. You have “Detectives” in the Force. What are their roles actually? Again, enquiring minds would like to know.
I am not saying that it would help to solve every crime but it’s time that the police work with the telecommunications providers and be more strategic in their approach to crime and solving them. We badly need the installation of working cameras at strategic positions all over Antigua and Barbuda. When criminals think that there is a chance that they might be caught whether be on foot, bike or a getaway car, they are less likely to commit crimes. Antigua and Barbuda is small and this is easily doable.
Perhaps these crimes were committed by the same people that killed Bruce Greenaway; hence, unsolvable!
