Lions’ Hot Meals Program

The Antigua Lions’ Hot Meals program happens every Wednesday from the Zion Church of God kitchen on North Street.

There are 30 recipients from the rural areas of Antigua.

The meals are collected by members of the Antigua Lions club and distributed to the recipients.

They are mainly senior-shut-ins and also the Visually Impaired workshop staff that receive hot meals from the Antigua Lions Club.

This initiative focuses on Hunger within the community of Antigua.

The Antigua Lions Club has been organizing hot meals on a weekly basis for the under privilege for over 20 years.

Fortunately, during the Pandemic, the hot meals program continued in full effect.

The recipients are very appreciative and look forward to a healthy, scrumptious hot meal on a weekly basis.

  2. Thank you Lions.
This meals on wheels program is consistent over decades.
It’s more than a hot meal, Lions give fellowship with the older shut in community, and that human contact is priceless and greatly looked forward to each week.
Incredible program and incredible tenacity from the Lions.
    Thank you.
