A Liberta man was shot in the knee last Friday by masked men who also robbed his home of electronics and cash.
The man told police he was returning home about 1 a.m. when he was approached by three armed men wearing masks.
When he tried to escape, he felt a sting in his knee and realized that he was shot.
The man said he hid in nearby bushes only to overhear the shooters discuss whether they should kill him or not.
Instead of taking the man’s life, the three men entered his home and robbed him of several valuables.
The man was treated at hospital and released but will have to undergo continued treatment from an Orthopedic Surgeon.
Lawmen are appealing for information but have not made any arrests so far.
