POINTE XPRESS- Jeson Cedeno, 28, of Liberta, is scheduled to reappear in the Magistrate Court (District B) on Thursday for possible sentencing after pleading guilty to firearms-related charges on Monday.
Cedeno faced multiple charges, including possession of cannabis with intent to sell, along with the possession of a 9mm Glock pistol and four rounds of ammunition. He was jointly charged with a female companion, Kamyliah Daniel, 24, of Villa.
During the court proceedings, Daniel pleaded not guilty, represented by attorney Sherfield Bowen. Following her plea, the prosecution decided to withdraw all charges against her.
Cedeno, however, admitted guilt regarding the firearms charges but denied the charges related to possession of cannabis. The prosecution withdrew those charges as well. Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel adjourned the matter until Thursday, remanding Cedeno to HM Prison until then.
In a separate case, two individuals from Clark’s Hill—41-year-old Jowato Geno Athill and 33-year-old Adiva Collins—have been remanded in prison after appearing before Magistrate Emanuel on charges of possession of ammunition. They are accused of possessing multiple caliber rounds of ammunition without holding a firearms license. Both pleaded not guilty, and the court ordered a disclosure period of 21 days, setting the trial date for December 10 and 11. The prosecution is expected to call five witnesses, while the defense indicated it will call four witnesses.

I don’t know what guys get out of dressing like this and claim they’re straight, nobody wanna see your ass …I want them lost you in the jail.

You know Cabinet the other day took a decision to make it illegal to wear Ski Mask and those other gang related things such as bullet proof vests. But I think they should have gone further and regulate and legislate appropriate dressing for both men and women. For especially the wearing of the pants below the waste bothers me so much. I just hate to see these guys thinking that they are hip or it when they wear their pants below their waste. And to think that some women do feel attractive to these guys. What that tells you about those women morals. We have lost many morals in this beautiful Island state of ours. Just look at how the women dress during Carnival. I mean before time Burning Flames had a song, Show me your boxer short. Now the girls have taking things to the next level. Show me your batty. And who knows what they will show next. Children watching mass are being baptized with porno on the street. You cannot even prevent them from watching.
The Question is, should our politician legislate morals in this day and age. Cause we really have lost our way. God Help Us.
I very much agree with the sentiment, that trend has our young men looking like they waiting for someone to dominate them and social media have our young women walking around half naked like they don’t respect the body that God gave them. Can’t complain about police bothering you but you dress like your a “badman”, can’t complain men trouble you and you feel unsafe when you walking around half naked.
we need to implement a law to ban them form dressing like this. pull up your dam pants!!
This man is actually a very nice guy. Never seen or heard him in anything and does a lot for his community and people around him. Sometimes people deserve a second chance
