LIAT Operations Grounded as Sole Aircraft Hits Maximum Flying Hours
The primary LIAT aircraft, crucial in recent operations, has reached its maximum flying hours.
Lionel Hurst, the Government’s Chief of Staff, announced the suspension of LIAT services until maintenance, including expensive engine replacements, is completed.
Hurst emphasized the necessity of ensuring LIAT’s strong safety record, with some engines sent to manufacturers for overhaul.
However, a specific timeline for the aircraft’s return to service is unavailable due to maintenance challenges.

Hurst is another clown who needs to go home permanently. Man has no vision except for himself!
1. No LIAT money to lease a plane to help stranded LIAT passengers! He doesn’t care!
2. No LIAT money to refund stranded LIAT passengers who were forced to purchase new tickets.
Yet…he and his clown master want to fight/stop Caribbean Airlines because of the December launch of a new LIAT??.How is that working out for you??? Damn fools…all of youĺ
How can an Economic Poorhouse run an airline? All around, the citizenry is complaining of poor to non existent services. My garbage has not been picked up for 3 weeks? Yet Gaston is keeping this, should say these, farce up because it’s not his own money that is wasting. This is what a Failed State looks like.
LIAT will NEVER be successful, no matter what they do, until they the governments of the Caribbean rectify the cruel injustice they served to the employees of LIAT.
