SOURCE DBS RADIO: Air access into Dominica is set to improve, as LIAT 2020 makes its inaugural flight into Douglas Charles airport today.

LIAT 2020, the revised incarnation of one of the Caribbean’s most popular Airlines made its inaugural flight earlier this year, marking a significant milestone in regional aviation.

LIAT 2020 is a collaboration between Nigerian Carrier Air Peace Limited and the Government of Antigua and Barbuda.

The development comes after the closure of LIAT 1974 Ltd.

The new airline is the brainchild of Antigua and Barbuda’s Prime Minister Gaston Brown.

The inaugural flight at the Douglas Charles Airport is at 12.30 pm

A welcome ceremony at Douglas Charles airport will feature officials of Discover Dominica Authority and LIAT 2020.

  1. And slowly but surely we are expanding the number of Islands we cover and will silence the critics. But was bound to happen. Every time they complain about something, time catch up with them and they have to look for another straw to clamp on. Soon their will be no more straws. Unless they want this government to bring water from the moon.

  4. Be reminded that the original plot has contributed to the demise of some 13 West Africans and passed as easily as rats killed on a peanut farm. There’s nothing in it for ANTIGUA and BARBUDA but everything for the MURDEROUS MAFIOSOS. The losers will eventually come forward because there’s no loyalty among crooks. By the way; how much is the CHARTER fare to Dominica?

  5. Which country are you living in? Can’t be Antigua and Barbuda. Have you seen how we celebrated carnival? All the fetes were sold out. People spend money can’t done. And the average price of a fete is $300.00. Not to mention playing mass. That is about $1500.00
    You guys like to preach gloom and doom and nothing there to see. Just come out from under your rock. Antigua is doing well. Cannot even get a gardener to cut your grass or a car washer to wash your car
