LETTER: Where is the COVID-19 Dashboard?

One of the last dashboard to be published April 27, 2021

DEAR EDITOR:

It has been nine days since the Ministry of Health published a COVID-19 Dashboard.

Is it true that there is only one person in the Ministry who has the template and relevant expertise to produce the dashboard?

Is it true that that individual is currently on leave?

Is it true that the Ministry of Health is unable to contact the individual because the Ministry does not know where the person is or how to reach them?

Antigua and Barbuda is a Pappyshow Country.

  1. I went to the Beach. I swan out from the shore into deeper waters. It was then I saw a floatation device. It was that Dashboard floating away.Could that be the reason. The Dashboard is nonexistent.

  2. And there I was naively thinking that Antigua and Barbuda had 0 new cases of Covid 19 and 100 percent recovery in the last 9 nine days. On a serious note though, how are the authorities able to make informed decisions regarding Covid 19 without any supporting data? This norm in Antigua and Barbuda has always seemed to baffle me.

  3. One thing the government can do right now to encourage vaccinations, rather than making them mandatory is to relax the rules for those who can prove they are fully vaccinated, as in Germany. For instance, if you can show a vaccination card, the curfew could not apply, or you would not be required to quarantine

  4. That dashboard was just a prop. Not even accurate in the least.

    Govt bullshit as usual
