Dear Mr Fernandez
According to the records, so far, you have been recognized as the best tourism minister, the nation has ever seen.
Evidently, the number of tourists coming to our island under your tenure have increased exponentially. Of course, kudos must be given to you and your marketing team for the hard work put in to get these tourists to our beautiful paradise.
The stakeholders involved in the tourism product such as the vendors, the law enforcement, the taxis, entertainers, the beautiful beaches and our hospitable hostesses at the restaurants & hotels, all cannot be excluded from the high commendations.
Additionally, our health minister Mr. Molwyn Joseph should also be given high kudos for ensuring that we have a state of the art hospital in place and his initiative of erecting such neat rubbish bins at strategic points in St. John’s to encourage both the residents & tourists to keep the city clean. Most of these bins are still standing today.
Now with that been said, I think it is long overdue that toilet facilities should be installed at strategic points in St John’s and our main tourists sites, such as Devils Bridge, the beaches etc. A collaboration needs to be done between you and the health minister.
It is extremely sad and of poor taste that at various areas within the city and including our prominent tourist sites, there is this aromatic (wrenk ) scent of human urine along with the sight of human faeces deposited which certainly makes the area unsightly.
I am of the view that the installation of toilets can be used to meet human needs ( local & tourist ) and simultaneously used as a revenue maker, which can be used to maintain themselves and its surroundings.
Presently, our paradise is an envy and hence, if we are really working towards an economic powerhouse then all ” I’s ” should be dotted and our ” T’s ” crossed.

Indeed, how can we be welcoming visitors to our shores and have no toilet facilities for them. Even for the locals they are critically needed. It’s time for us to get with the program
ABLP with TWO terms in office and always talking up the financial growth in tourism and the tourism industry in Antigua; and yet the toilet 🚻 facilities in Town are virtually non-existent and what’s available are health hazards.
REMEMBER, WITNESS WITH YOUR OWN EYES AND NOT WHAT THE GOVERNMENT TELLS YOU.

So ah dem alone $hit? Why is it that everything has to be done because of tourist? Don’t the citizens desire best?
I challenge Gaston Browne, Max Fernandez, Colin James and Molwyn Joseph to do walk through St John’s city and tell me if they honestly think the place is clean. St John’s city is filthy and many of the sidewalks with their holes are an accident waiting to happen.
Well this should not take a letter to be written to see the need of more (Rest-Room in Strategic point in the city
Antigua is a tourists Island and it is Common Sense that you need Decent Toilets so tourists and locals can ease them self at any given times

The porta potty’s or portable fancy latrines is enough for them say our government. Don’t you see what Robin and Barret gave the National Park at Devils Bridge. Porta Potty’s draped in the colors of our flag. Now that’s some patriotic shit for powerhouse living!
This man came into power at the most lucrative time in Antigua’s history, and all now nothing has been done to clean up the city of Antigua, not a damn thing.
So tell us you great ABLP supporters, what are we to say about the lack luster efforts that this government has put forth so far?
In the mean time GB has gotten rich rich, how?
Not that I care about his riches, but where has all that money gone? It’s certainly not in the roads, it’s not towards the City, it’s certainly not in the schools, and definitely not in the pockets of the citizens of Antigua.
Yes we complain a lot about this inept government, but yes they did have the funds to do many of the things that are asked of them, so why haven’t they done these things?
Uuummm? Inquiring minds will like to know, or I guess we will just come to the conclusion that GB and his corrupt party squandered or stole the funds.
