I listened carefully to what Prime Minister Gaston Browne said about his past meeting with Adrian Williams, and I also read Mr. Williams’ response.
To be honest, that response was not good enough.
The Prime Minister didn’t speak in vague terms — he gave specific details. He said Mr. Williams came to him asking how he and his family make money. He said they discussed business opportunities, property, and ways to create wealth. He even gave examples of what was said and what advice was given.
Those are serious and very specific claims.
So why is Mr. Williams responding with general statements about “leadership” and “vision”? That does not answer anything.
As a voter, I don’t want slogans. I want straight answers.
Did you meet with the Prime Minister or not?
Did you ask him those questions or not?
Did you discuss business opportunities and making money or not?
It’s very simple.
You cannot come to the public now talking about “defamation” and “rhetoric” while avoiding the actual issue. If what the Prime Minister said is false, then say clearly that it is false. If it is true, then explain it.
Right now, it looks like you are dodging.
And that is a problem.
Because if you are asking people to trust you to represent them, then you must be open and direct. You cannot pick and choose when to be transparent.
People are paying attention. We are not fools. We heard what was said, and we see how you are responding.
This election is too important for games and talking points. We need honesty.
So once again, Mr. Williams — answer the questions directly.

While attention is being directed toward Adrian Williams, we believe it is crucial to center our focus on Prime Minister Gaston Browne. Browne asserts he did not answer key questions because Williams approached him for a job. Yet, what is the real point he is trying to make? Figures like Anthony Smith , Lamin Newton, Dr. Mansoor, and others have crossed political lines, and we need clarity.
If Browne speaks of loyalty, we must ask: does he even trust himself? The late Asot Micheal held vital files—files that, once gone, left a vacuum. These political games do not serve us. What we truly want is to make Antigua great again. We need to understand why downtown is in decline, why ministers are promoting their businesses on cruise ships, and why some are using their trucks to push out others. We must ask why, even in times of crisis, corruption goes unpunished—like the car theft scandal, where no one has been held accountable. Browne demands answers from Williams, but he himself avoids the tough questions. As Prime Minister, it is his duty to lead by example.
Let’s come together and push for a paradigm shift, a leadership shift, to build a better future for Antigua.
10 REASONS WHY I WILL VOTE AGAINST ABLP IN THE UPCOMING ELECTIONS
1. THE UNITED STATES WILL NOT RESTORE OUR VISAS UNDER ABLP. A NEW GOVRNMENT WOULD BE MORE LIKELY TO GET A REPRIEVE; EVEN AS A GOODWILL GESTURE.
2. WE WILL GET TO SEE THE FULL SCALE OF GIVE-AWAYS AND UNBALANCED QUID PRO QUOs THIS GOVERNMENT HAS FORCED US INTO.
3. WE WILL GET TO KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT “NYAMCO” AND ALL THE OTHER SCHEMES COOKED UP BY ABLP AND THEIR HECHMEN TO CREAM OFF OUR MONEY.
4. WE WILL FINALLY HAVE A GOVERNMENT THAT WILL HAVE TO LISTEN TO US IN A MEANINGFUL WAY AND NOT HEAR, “OH, THAT IS WHY WE ARE THE GOVERNMENT”
5. THE SCOURGE OF SELF-ENRICHMENT WILL BE REMOVED FOR GOOD. MORE EMPOWERMENT FOR YOU AND ME AS IT SHOULD BE.
6. STOP THE THINKING OF ANY FUTURE GOVERNEMNT THAT TO WIN, YOU JUST GIVE AWAY EVERYTHING AT OUR EXPENSE. Btw IF THEY WIN, THEY WILL INCREASES TAXES TO RECOUP THOSE FUNDS.
7. THE ALFA NARGO SCANDAL WILL BE LESS OF A BURDEN AROUND OUR NECKS BUT NOT GASTON, AS IT SHOULD BE.
8. IT WILL BE WONDERFUL TO SEE ALL THOSE WHO JUMP THE UPP SHIP START SCAMPERING HITHER, THITHER AND YON.
9. THEY ARE JUST WAITING TO INCREASE THE PRICE OF GAS.
10. WE WILL FINALLY GET RID OF THIS “CHECK YOU MINISTER” CURSE AND THE SYSTEMS OF GOVERNANCE WILL BE RESTORED.
FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR CHILDREN AND CHILDREN’S CHILDREN, STOP THEM!
You people that have an interest in politics must remember that Gaston mouth sleep ah dew anything you all say to him will eventually be revealed, it’s just a matter of time all the judases from UPP done sell them soul to him and the others in the Party must stay in line or else he reveal their secrets. If i was Adrian, I wouldn’t answer any more questions about what the PM said. This is politics and because you intended to run against a comrade, they trying to dig up dirt to put a spoke in your wheel. Forcus on what you about to do for city south if you manage to win your seat.
