Algernon “Serpent” Watts, a friend of the individual, in a radio interview initially claimed to be upstairs with him after lunch, explaining their tardiness to the budget speech. However, the individual, Kelvin “Shuggy” Simon, later contradicted this statement, giving the impression that he was in town conducting business and got caught up in traffic while returning. This blatant dishonesty is a clear indication of a lack of integrity.

The United Progressive Party spinners need to know that we are not all fools, buffoons, or ignoramuses. If Kelvin “Shuggy” Simon bought a boat, we know that is OK. However, the question remains: did Kelvin “Shuggy” Simon use campaign financing to buy a boat? He should have answered this question on the show and needs to properly address it.

The Prime Minister stated that being an Antigua Labour Party cabinet member and being independent was nonsensical and that he would not have entertained that discussion. PM Browne further indicated that Kelvin “Shuggy” Simon had articulated a desire to resign from the UPP and operate independently to run the Ministry of Sports.

As a boat owner I’m curious, is Shuggy alleged to have used campaign funds to purchase a boat which is currently in Antigua or somewhere else? The US? If the accusations are true then it should be easy to prove with facts and just as easy for Shuggy to refute.
Is it the same as swapping 19 parcels of swamp lands for prime lands in Friars Hill? How about being caught with a U.S.$12Mil. given by an investor as a bribe and had to state that it was a loan after being exposed? Those are fraud, theft and corruption against the state. This lie expose by the man with the most educated and intelligent radio show, Mr. A.K.A AL, I was in my car driving in rush hour when I was listing to AL playing the two interviews and just couldn’t believe my ears. I mean I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. So I started one laughing in my car, that other drivers started to look at me, thinking somehting was wrong with me. I mean this is crazy. He already lied when he take part of the election and claimed he had resigned before nomination date. Then he claim it was not about resigning before election date. Anyway for whatever reason Gaston Browne advised by his lawyer Tony Astaphan decided to let things go and a by election was called. Because again AL had it at the right end, their was no way for him to resign from parliament unless he resigfned from the party. That is why the boy keeps telling one lie after the other. He will die in a web of lies. It will all come back to hound him one day. God doesn’t sleep and he doesn’t like liars.
It is very obvious that Gaston Brown now controls the Antigua Newsroom. They are not putting up any story that does not make his Maria look good (proof of this).
Before Shugy answers any question about buying a boat, he Gaston Browne needs to answer these.

The members of the opposition are always grasping for straws. The government is leading from the front, but the personal attacks and accusations are the only ways they believe that they can be relevant. It’s not working for them, though. They’re crumbling like standing on quicksand.

Yesterday I listened to Shugy on Observer radio and this jumped out at me.
1) That the UPP MP’s are flirting with Gaston Browne and the ABLP Administration. If they were serious about against the Ills they speak about. They would not be playing games with the ABLP members of parliament. Shugy just came out of a by-election in which he saw for himself corruption at the highest order. Government money misused to try and defeat him at the polls. That alone should be enough of a lesson for him to at all times be in guard, instead of leading on GB by flirting. Yes it is flirting and dangerous.
2) Shugy I do give you the benefit of the doubt on the other hand that you were just Joking. I call it flirting. You Shugy should have known better, you opened the door. I am not asking you to be enemies and go around hating the members of the ABLP. However, if you are true to what you believe- you should act professionally and greeting should be – good morning, good afternoon, yah , Nah. The only points of conversation should be when it comes to the country business. Which should be done in an amicable and professional tone but firm. You are representing the majority of Antigua- UPP had the popular votes . Stand your ground and stop the fooling around. The negative things these people say about you and members of the UPP party, should be enough not to be grinning from ear to ear with any of them. You are saying that they are ready to use guns against the Barbudans and you are standing up with the Barbuda people. Well act like you are in battle. This goes for every UPP MP, every executive member. Should D.Gisel Issac shake hands with any of them. Hell NO. Should Jamal Pringle be smiling up with any of them ? the Hell No. I would not even have lunch with them in that lunchroom. I would go out in my vehicle.

Yesterday when Shugy mentioned when the other left him , that Anthony Smith took up the task of asking him to leave the UPP party and join his disgraceful….. You should have told him there and then , for the people that voted him into office and those that voted yiu into office- you should be ashamed of yourself to be coming to me with this conversation. Anthony all the negative things you have said about the executive members of UPP and especially D.Gisel Isaac she is by far a superior and more honorable and dignified human than you are. From since the St.Peters by-election I have grown to respect George Whenner a thousand times more. He stood his ground and fought hard to the end. I listen to him on the big issues on Sunday and he was true to battle. A true soldier to the cause of justice and equity. He is articulate, research and factual.

You’re dead wrong about the purpose for sending law enforcement to control the standoff in the sister isle. No guns would have been used, once they they didn’t violate the law.
No ancestors left any lands for the Barbudans as they never owned the land. Even the slave masters had rented the land from the Queen by offering animals to be slaughtered.
