LETTER: Help From Minister Of Education

4

I am writing this letter to ANR to publish my cry out for help from the Minister of Education.

I am a Day-care owner for over 20 years within the island of Antigua & Barbuda but was forced to be closed because of the pandemic. As well as other Day-care Centres & Pre-Schools.
We are in need of help from the Government to assist in providing us with hand sanitizers, masks, gloves, thermometers & other necessary equipment that could help us fight the battle against COVID-19 and to protect the young children from this deadly disease.
It’s heart breaking for us to be buying the necessities by ourselves thus far hoping to be reopened soon. We were closed from MARCH 26TH,2020 – to present.

  1. Is this person serious with this mail. At the end of the day if you needs these things why don’t you buy them and adjust your day care fees accordingly? Do you think this is some welfare state or something. You are running a private business, if the cost of operations have increased adjust your fees accordingly.

  2. That person sounds real foolish, the Ministry of Education did not make the regulations, and the health protacols instead of getting your ass down at Ministry of Health you just decide to waste people time of this. What planet you are on?

  3. Um…..er……is this a Government-owned daycare??? Wah kinda rar-sish-niss dis ya wid dis letter ya???
