Leon Norville brings to you a more traditional contemporary soca style in his first 2018 release “Jammin”.
The track is a groovy fusion of Calypso and Soca Styles.
The pulsating sounds of African drums, melodic guitars and subtle horns come together to complement an original piece produced by Brian “General Slicks” Mason.
The song was written by recording artist and songwriter Leon Norville with contributing writer credits to Brian Mason.
Production was handled by the Lab Studios and Hole in the Wall Studios.
Media Personality J’nore Smith is credited with background vocals.
The Cover Art for the song was created by Saint Lucian graphic designer Geeshian Avril of Blue-Scale Productions in the United States.
The Promo Release of the song to Radio Stations and DJs went into circulation on April 15th.
Over the next couple of weeks, the song will be released officially to the public with a music video to compliment.
Leon Norville is no stranger to music and first released music targeted to Antigua’s Carnival in 2017.
His releases in 2017 included the song “Back It and Roll It” on the Feteran Riddim produced by Tadj Martin on June 04th 2017.
This song received widespread airplay during the carnival season and was followed by his soca crossover release “Wuk Ya Body” that premiered with an official music video on July 26th 2017.
Leon Norville is a new artist to the soca genre and by the looks of it, he is determined to make his mark through his consistent and creative music releases and undoubted artistry in his music video productions.
The artist life motto is “Success is determined by how determined you are to succeed” and with a motto like that the stars are just the limit for this up and coming recording artiste.
