  1. Interesting. What accomplishments Choko? All the ones you mentioned are not ALP accomplishments. The port, social programs…..? Come on man. Your greatest ‘accomplishment” was enriching yourselves. The reason you spent so much money buying the election was because of your LACK of accomplishments.

    • Name all of UPP accomplishments for us… I realize a lot of you people taking up Demagoguery propensities and think we blind to it. UPP candidates buy a lot of votes as well, but where is the honesty coming from you people who supported them… we want all of you to know we see and cognizant of their subterfuge that’s why they remain in opposition..

      • @ Thothmoses

Pardon me? Obviously you never read the book of accomplishments by the UPP vs the 23 failed projects of the ABLP!!!
How can you have it both ways? You say the UPP candidates are poor, broke and cannot even pay their rent, issue bounce cheques, but still they ‘buy a lot of votes as well’? YOU MINIONS ARE REALLY SICK IN YOUR HEAD. MAKE UP YOUR MIND.
All the ABLP does is ‘mash up people name’ because they do not have ANY RECORD TO RUN ON.
The UPP remain in opposition because they DON’T HAVE MONEY TO ‘BUY’ AN ELECTION LIKE THE ABLP. THE LAST 48 HOURS OF THE ELECTION, ABLP GAVE AWAY OVER $20,000,000 DOLLARS TO BUY VOTES AND BRIBE PEOPLE.
LISTEN TO YOU ADMITTING ‘votes as well’….clearly showing that you guys understand the MODUS OPERANDI OF YOUR ‘LITTLE GODS’.

      • They did build a great big CARN park, embarrass the nation during and after the 2007 cricket world cup, placed the lights at the stadium in the wrong place, mash up St. John side walks, overspend for Food City and Ben Corp, mess up the ODOMS building project, stagnate tourism, undersell Royal Antiguan, caused APC to legally continue Hadeed domination over our electricity production, and list goes on. We can’t deny that UPP accomplished plenty $#!+. The smell still lingers around the carn park.

        • @ Aloenso

They also built Mount St John hospital. They also put infrastructure in place to allow the building of over 300 small hotels and guest houses for Cricket World Cup.
They build the Sir Vivian Richards stadium.
They built the new International Airport…..anyway it doesn’t make any sense telling you RETARDED MINIONS ANYTHING…….YOU ALL CANNOT BE TAUGHT ANYTHING, EXCEPT IF GASTON SAY IT. Bunch of losers.

      • @ Aloenso

You are really not knowledgeable in current affairs.

IT WAS THE UPP THAT NEGOTIATED AND STARTED THE PLANS FOR THE PORT. poor you

  2. Leadership has never been more critical, and technologies will continue to shape how leaders work today and in the coming years. It is, therefore, up to leaders to embrace these new technologies and use them RESPONSIBLY if they are going to stay ahead of the competition. The truth is we never before had a leader who was so savvy in the use of Facebook and other technologies. The PM is often seen responding to items on face book and other mediums which can be good and bad at the same time. Not sure if Mr Weston’s swipe at the Prime Minister was more of a personal one than a major concern of his.

  3. Been saying that for some time now. Few of the reasons why he continues to behave in that manner is because he is strong in his constituency, he boast of how wealthy he is, his pension is secure and the few senior ministers in the party/cabinet who may have some clout in doing/saying something to curtail his behavior are too busy enriching themselves so that is not their priority. If the Labour Party wants to continue in governance then they need to realize the PM is NOT the Party, the government’s policies are NOT the PM’s policies only/alone and he is part of a team whom they have chosen to be the Leader. Labour Party policies are more sound and sustainable than any other party that have govern this country. The exit poll suggest that some Labour supporters stayed away from the poll while other voted for the opposition because they were tired of the WATER situation and disgusted of the PM’s behavior. The same thing happened in 2014 when the UPP was in governance, some of their supporters stayed away from the polls away and the rest is history. Does anyone see a parallel here? Look at the 2018 loss numbers for the oppositions against the 2023 wins gains, if that doesn’t give the Labour Party reason to be concerned then Labour DEAD. Call a/the convention and let’s see how many are tired of behavior.

    • Gaston Browne would still emerge as the winner and leader of the ABLP after the convention. Who will be challenging him? Instead, the UPP has a leadership problem with a buffoon as their leader right now, Pringle. Misery lub company

  4. Lennox admits the rumor regarding ABLP having 4 billion hurt the party, but then argues all mediums should not be used to set the record straight. May I suggest that if all ABLP MP’s use Social media the way the PM does, their chances of winning will be increased. Afterall, the results of the election shows GB beating his opponent worse than any other candidate (except AM)did their opponent (practically 2 to 1). Anyone doubts AM used all mediums including Social media to get his message out? GB keep using all mediums to set the record straight.

    • I thought your poll had concluded that Labour would win all 17 seats. What do you have to say tenman! “Ten to One is Murda.”

    • Agree!! ALL!!! Because that’s where the influence is, targeting young people. The UPP’s social media presence was by far more popular among the youth this time around compared to the ABLP. Weston has a phobia of social media and also a misconception about the vast possibilities and benefits that can be derived from social media. Unfortunately, he never spoke about the good that Gaston has spoken about. Although I am not a very religious person, I am fearful of God’s wrath on our little country where all and sundry, including Lennox Weston, who does nothing but nyam pounds and pounds of hog intestines stuffed with rice, pepper and condiments, have suddenly become armchair pundits on every subject matter. The outcome of the elections was mandated by God. Gaston Browne is still our leader. I now ask a question that has been asked many centuries ago through the writings of John the Baptist (John chapter 1 v 46) regarding Jesus’ departure from Galilee when he called upon Philip to follow him and Phiiip subsequently found Nathanael and told him they (including Andrew and Peter) have found the one Moses wrote about in the law and about whom many prophets also wrote. The question that was asked by Nathanael was, Can anything good come out of Nazareth, I am asking now can anything good come out of Antigua? Gaston is the quintessential Caribbean leader. Do the research. He has done more for this country than any other Caribbean leader has done for their country, even in a contemporary context.

  5. As far as I am concern, I want gaston to continue just as he is.

As a matter of fact, I want him to step it up even more.

It is only a matter of time before he (gaston) is voted out.

He is among the most unpopular politician in this country.

Continue gaston. Continue to cuss your colleagues and all them ass-licking comrades around you.

They all deserve it for kissing your ass continually.

  6. My dear friend Lennox, I believe you are dead wrong in this case. The political fight is won on social media these days. If you do not respond to all the attacks on your character, you will be like Lester Bird suffering from the lies from the 2004 election. When they claim they have a video of him being involved with a minor. A story at first even believed by many close friends. Or when they claimed that Lester was moving files from the Prime Minister’s Office and mobilized the country to go down to the PM’s office and block anyone from taking anything out of there. And the then leader who championed the attack on the radio, a serpent, was rewarded with a National Award. Thereafter, we now know it was all a lie. But it caused the ALP to lose the election. And Lester had to take them to court to clear his reputation. But the damage was done. People like Joan Underwood who claimed to have information, when contacted by the police, had nothing to say. The reporters who made the video fled the country and so did the young girl. Years later the true story was told, and Lester Bird won his case in court and the media house had to pay lots of money in damages. But that didn’t remove the stain on his name. Lester told me that was the biggest disappointment of his life. Didn’t expect Baldwin to sink that low, just to win an election. New defamation laws were passed in Parliament, but now people hide behind fake names on websites and even reach a wider audience. The Prime Minister understands very well the power of social media and therefore takes part in it. You cannot let attackers on social media just get away with their lies etc. The point I do agree is more people like me and tenman need to come forward and debunk all the lies that these people put out there. That is why they hate tenman and me so much. Because we take them on every time and present the facts which they cannot refute and then result to name calling. But sticks and stone will break my bones, but words will never do. I will give them some space from time to time, because the elections are over, and I do not have the time to bring myself to the gutter they are in. All the uneducated discussions they are having. The focus now is to run the country and take Antigua and Barbuda to the next level of development. Until the next election I will only respond from time to time to important issues. But I will keep reading the nonsensical posts from them. Have fun mice while the cat is away.

    • Cat on the Sidelines you need to stop preening yourself as if you really make any impression! You are clearly the Browne/noser of the defunct party now a dictatorship! We will all be glad to be rid of your arse-licking quips – go into exile and try to forget the high wind now exposing your bare bottom!

    • Just One Vote! Just One Vote! Just One Vote!

@From The Sidelines…obviously, there’s a vote of ‘No Confidence,’ against the PM Gaston Browne was taken by Members of the Hierarchy of the ABLP and its Members have weakened the PM. It’s on a larger scale, than that by Vere Bird Jnr and his True Labour Party and supporters.

Weston comments speaks volume. It would do Chet Greene well to have his hand in this, like he did with the African Refugees, Mercenaries, Terrorists, Guerrillas.
Robin Yearwood might just wanna teach him a lesson in respect!
There MUST be a VOTE of NO CONFIDENCE on the PM at the first session of Parliament. His seat is already smoking.

      Vere C. Edwards

  7. @Sidelines: Who was the person uttering these words. “She has nice tits”.The person was speaking to another Labor Party Official about a little girl. I have those discussions from CaribArena on tapes.Would you like me to send them to Antigua News Room for verification? Them you could tell the world if you knew the voices heard on those tapes.

  8. @ the sideline. I agree people are hiding behind fake names. I however, have never heard of any whose first name is From, middle name The and last name Sideline. In my next life, I will name my son after u.

  9. I have been saying this all along. At first said that ABLP in mid 2022 had like 15 seats . Then I went on to say that Gaston and Point FM can cause the entire ABLP except himself to loose all their seats. I asked the question over and over who can speak to Gaston Brown? Surely not Maria. He and the UPP Flippers made a mess of the APLP party. The Brown and Brown show became Cabinet and announcement were made and became cabinet decisions. Heard still have not learned his less Lennox. He wanted to appoint Chia and Lamin can’t even a simple question from 3 question to the senate. Yes under the British Parliamentary System the PM appoints but It does not necessarily mean that 99.9 percent of appointments must come from Point or Point FM . Can remember the APLP of VC Bird had Stalwarts of ABLP in the senate like John Meade from English Harold. This lady from Bethesda that worked at the union and head of ABLP woman action group. Today’s ABLP is about Gastón Brown , his family and those like Chia ,Lamin, Collin that sing him foolish praises. None of them went into the community they are from and campaigned. As the elections got nearer Gaston and Assot fiasco or I should say Gaston went after Assot and forget or knocked the wind ( win) out of the big red machine. I can remember saying every day left is like a year and the momentum has shifted to UPP . That every decision Air Antigua, every time Gastón opened his mouth one more seat lost. He is very luck that it was just a few days left. Otherwise he and Point FM would be the single seat for the ABLP ion Parliament. If sn election to be called right now that would be the exact result. Gastón Brown and Point FM is his worst enemy. Gastón Brown and his circle of fools are ABLP worst enemy.

  10. @Incia Brooks, thank you. Let’s just settle this matter once and for all. The ALP minions are incapable of logical thoughts. Kumblai says it best: “If Labour give give them s**t to nyam they will nyam um. They would tell you that the s**t is a delicatessen. ” It’s like trying to reason with rocks. Many of them are sitting better today because of UPP, but the cult juice has infiltrated their capacity for rational thought. 11 billion dollars later, and they have nothing to show but the fruits of self-enrichment.

  11. Antigua, Barbuda & REFONDA politicians behave like kids playing in a sand box or kids making spit balls at each other in kindergarten hoping not to get caught by the teacher.
Not only do they need to mature, grow mentally, spiritually and socially, as those charged with the management of the Nation’s, they’ve made a mockery of Our Social Fabric. It’s evident in the escalation of crimes and criminality.
Therefore, it’s not surprising, that Gaston is behaving this way, trying to be hip and a superstar on Facebook, Tic_Tok and other social media platforms. Governments have now seen the destructive nature of these platforms and are banning and restricting access to them.

    Ras Smood aka Jumbee_Picknee

    Very C. Edwards

  12. Lennox is a real cuntoon. Where was his voice prior to his loss? Why didn’t he use the same media to speak about the same things he mentioned to the media? Wouldn’t it be part of his remit to expound as he is doing now on the same issues raised? No, He is just a lazy 450-pound gorilla, who just behaves as though he is the brightest and he is second to Albert Einstein. Give me a break!!! How dem say he bright? Only a dumb ass man would say such BS, by the way, if it wasn’t for Point Fm, Labour Party would have lost more seats. People like Lennox Weston never even appeared on point Fm in Gaston’s absence. If he had spent some time to listen PM Brown expounding on all the issues he mentioned here to the media on a weekly basis on the Browne and Browne Show, he wouldn’t be sounding so ignorant. No, instead, every Saturday God sends he go Pigotts by Pickney or Edris and buy $200 worth ah rice pudd’n and $200 worth ah head skin. He has an insatiable appetite for Headskin and rice pudd’n and a bigger one for loss. You get wey wid some votes, count you self luck boi, because Bowen min ah go gi you wha he gi to Tessa. May God bless the soul of the departed.
