Funeral held in March amid COVID-19 restrictions

The late Ralph Francis, one of Antigua and Barbuda’s most prominent and respected lawyers, was laid to rest today.

The small, intimate service was attended by close friends and family, and five members of the Bar Association.

Francis, 72, died on Tuesday at Mount St. John’s Medical Centre after being infected with COVID-19.

A special sitting of the court will be held on Tuesday in his honour.

Judges, magistrates and attorneys with whom he worked for many years are set to attend the event.
