The conflict involved a landlord and his tenant, culminating in a series of severe injuries reportedly inflicted by both parties.
According to local authorities, the incident unfolded around 7:30 AM when an argument over alleged stolen money escalated dramatically.

In retaliation, the landlord also allegedly bit the tenant, causing injuries severe enough to require emergency medical attention.
She was transported to the Sir-Lester Bird Medical Center by EMS personnel for treatment.
This was the same incident that ANR reported resulted in a 3-year-old boy, the landlord’s son, suffering a laceration on the left side of his face.
The injury occurred when the cutlass accidentally fell during the scuffle between the adults.
He, too, was taken to the hospital along with his father.

The landlord’s son not hers
This a just some straight up bull shit
The things is, the laws in Antigua do not protect landlords .. tenants owe rent ! Pay when they want .. pay some .. kept having arrears and it’s fraustrating .. times are hard and landlords need their money too.. as soon as these tenants move in they have a hard luck story and stop paying rent and Antigua allows it .. years in court and nobody can tell them anything while they stay in your house.
We are fast becoming a nation of vigilante justice. Conflict resolution needs to be addressed from pre-schools immediately. Two many lives are being take over simple matters that can be solved. A young man is awaiting sentencing for killing his uncle over a fight that happened over a $50.00 – uncle beat him with a wood and he stabbed the uncle to death.
A seventeen year old lost his life in Bendals a few days ago after a argument and fight between friends- stabbed to death. Can remember seeing the young man that killed his uncle crying uncontrollably after the incident in remorse. Families are shattered, living are destroyed both the victims and families and the perpetrators and families. The government and the police is doing absolutely nothing to proactively about this – need for programs , wholesome activities, well organized sports and upgraded sporting facilities. A well organized TVET ( trade school). The politicians also need to show less aggression to each other ( PM).
On top of this we have violent robberies getting out of control. No task force in place to eliminate this immediately out of our society l. Do you get the impression that the government or opposition are showing real concern about these issues? Do you get the impression that the police care about getting this under control.
All questions to the PM yesterday was about money. So the economic powerhouse, greedy get rich politicians don’t care two hoots about Antigua and Barbuda. The police service commission needs to relook at it’s role. All they carr about is to fire police Commissioners.
All these people are getting paid by tax payers for days absolutely nothing.
