In a Facebook post on Thursday, Lady Williams expressed gratitude for the kindness, prayers, and encouragement she has received from friends, supporters, and well-wishers around the world.
A longtime advocate for humanitarian causes, she reassured the public that her recovery will not hinder her charitable work. Lady Williams said the Halo Foundation — the nonprofit organization she founded and has led for a decade — will continue its mission to assist those most in need.
She also used the opportunity to urge others to prioritize their health. “Challenges will come,” she wrote, “but they do not mark the end of the journey.”
