Her Excellency Sandra Lady Williams was admitted to be a Commander of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem on the instructions of His Majesty King Charles lll. The investiture took place on October 22nd at the Priory in St. John‘s Gate, London.
The ceremony was conducted by Prior Stuart Shilson and Chancellor Simon Williams . Others present included His Excellency Sir Rodney Williams, Knight of the Order and Dean Paul Williams.
The motto of the order is “For the faith and in the service of humanity. “ In response to the welcome , Her Excellency Lady Williams graciously accepted the honour. She said , “Thanks to everyone who had a part to play in bestowing this award on me . I’m very humbled . And hopefully deserving. Two weeks ago , I found myself facing death . In fact , the medical team in Beijing said that had I delayed one minute more, it would have been too late. And at that moment, nothing at all matters . Nothing in this world matters . And it is really then that you are faced with the real meaning and purpose of life : to live for each other , and to love each other. I know it’s a hard concept to grasp in this rat race of a world when it boils down to survival of the fittest . But grab as much as you may — you can only use so much STUFF and you certainly can’t take it with you .
All of this to say – the life of the Order of St John has been dedicated to helping mankind in the true spirit of the real purpose of humanity . We can’t thank you enough for your selfless contribution to global charity .
I was fortunate enough to be involved with the work of the St John Hospice in Antigua , and the St. John Ambulance here in the United Kingdom. I pledge to continue to help as much as I can — as long as there is breath in my body .”

With these lodge brotherhood position, you are swore to help more white people to power and wealth, these positions teaches you to be a responsible handler towards white monopoly capital domination.
… And not only that @ Eldread, these silly trinkets and gifts ensure that the monarch’s status quo will continue uncontested, unabashed by the collusion with the Caribbean hierarchy that love to bow and scrap to these slave enriched bas%#@ds.
Sandra ‘Lickspittle’ Williams should be utterly ashamed of herself. She probably hangs this royal cloak next to her husband’s ‘colonial’ white suite.
The late great Marcus Garvey must be turning in his grave …
Brixtonian is a hater and always will be. Having achieved nothing, he/she spends life behind a keyboard, intent on destroying the lives, hard work, and achievements of others. It brings to mind the saying, “If you judge, you will be judged also.” Those who live to judge and tear others down will ultimately face judgment themselves. The energy they spend trying to harm others comes back to them, often amplifying the emptiness and dissatisfaction they feel within. In the end, the weight of judgment falls heaviest on those who cast it.
I am not a fan of the British monarchy. I think that they should pay for their role during slavery. However, Lady Sandra Williams remarks were touching. I think she should be given credit as an Antigua , for her humility , love and further commitment of love and support to the vulnerable members of her community/ country.
She spoke of her near death experience and how that has impacted her life and love in such a positive way.
She sent a clear message to those greedy politicians of Antigua and Barbuda at this our 43 independence anniversary. That they only need so much to live. That they cannot take all the wealth they are accumulating on the backs of the poor and Vulnerable members of our society back with them.
That in the end vanity, all is vanity. I am sure me meant the names, the titles everything.
As an Antiguan I am touched by your words of encouragement , hope , love , compassion and commitment . God bless you madam !
James you absolute p%i#k. You don’t know me, thank the Lord.
I’m a self made man who runs my own business, with property abroad, and have half-a-dozen “passive” incomes to boot.
All I want, you damn uneducated idiot, is that Antiguans can also live a life that isn’t in bondage that is still held by a colonial system that holds back so many people of colour from making something of themselves. Fact!
Success comes from education, freedom of speech and then working for yourself; and not following some outdated system that holds black entrepreneurship back.
YOU CALL IT HATRED, EDUCATED PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF CALL IT FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION – TRY IT SOMETIME.
Nelson Mandela knew this, Dr Martin Luther King and Medgar Evers gave their lives for it; and the late great Malcolm X was assinated because of it.
COME ON JAMES, TAKE ME ON, ON BLACK HISTORICAL FACTS, I DARE YOU, I DOUBLE DARE YOU. ✊🏾
PRETTY PLEASE …
… As always, Brixtonian speaking TRUTH to POWER …
*assassinated
I am glad I don’t know you too. You insult your brothers and sisters in Antigua and Barbuda.
Brixtonian, once again, you’ve shown your true colors. You boast about your self-made success and achievements, yet here you are, tearing down Lady Williams’ charitable contributions—efforts that aim to make society a better place. While she is recognized for giving back and positively impacting the world, you choose to diminish her work while praising how successful you are. It’s disappointing to see someone so focused on self-praise undermine the good done by others for mankind.
Your absurd claim that being awarded for her charitable contributions means Lady Williams is held back by “a colonial system” truly reveals your hateful and envious mentality, one that will never serve you well and will continuously hold you back in this life. Lady Williams’ work is a testament to her dedication and commitment to progress, unrelated to any colonial framework you attempt to invoke. Instead of seeing a fellow Antiguan and Barbudan being celebrated for her achievements, you once again tear down her success. This crabs-in-the-barrel mentality suggests you want to undermine the achievements of any black person striving to make a difference. Your true character has been revealed to all.
Have a good evening.
@ James, it seems like you didn’t give a damn notice or pay attention of what I’d written. Do you have a problem with comprehension?
Must be!
Due to my amazing skillset and education (forgive me if I’m repeating myself once again with this story😁), I was given a very much sought after invitation to visit a Royal couple in the United Kingdom.
Although they were lower ranking royals, I point-blank refused to go.
The company I was working for couldn’t believe I didn’t want to attend (my colleagues were rather excited though, but I understood, because they were in the main British citizens), but they did not force me to go and respected my stance – unlike you James!
Maybe Mrs Williams doesn’t know the terrible history of the English monarchy … but I do!
You also enjoy your evening. ✊🏾
