@Antigua the most.. Yeah like they promised in their 2004 manifesto to do away with the apua’s fuel variation charge, no new taxes since we had sufficient. Then in 2009, they were to introduce unemployment insurance (though SS was bankrupt), Create thousands of government houses. Lets not forget they could not even complete the expensive bathrooms they started to build on our playfields. Truth is our laws define how the minimum wage is derived and its not by the ranting of some loser who would say anything to be elected PM
$9 per hour is just modern day slavery. Why are unions not fighting for a real living wage? Why is there a not general strike on this issue?
$9 ECD reallly????? For the country who imports almost everything and jacks up the prices on the imports? How can we afford anything???????? I can beg on the streets of the USA and earn twice or three times more than this.
@G – the cost of living in the US is more than twice that of A&B. Housing costs, even energy costs (due to the weather ) are much higher.
The people got the government that they deserve.
Minimum wage increased by a cents and Social Security also went up. How does that help poor people???
