Labour Day poll shows ABLP victory in next general elections despite weaknesses in 2 constituencies

1. The main opposition party is advancing a tax policy which will likely see Antigua becoming blacklisted by the EU. On Friday last they said they are going to reduce corporate income tax from 25% to 12%. This runs contrary to BEPS.

     Base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS) refers to tax planning strategies used by multinational enterprises that exploit gaps and mismatches in tax rules to avoid paying tax. Developing countries’ higher reliance on corporate income tax means they suffer from BEPS disproportionately.

Just hearing what Tabor had to say about our women the other day, makes me sick. What an insult to our women. And then two young men sitting there with a probably much brighter future laughing about that. Not realizing what image it gives them as well.
