Kranus Alphonse, 24, and Jahvandy Weekes, 18, are remanded after being implicated in a Cedar Valley Gardens robbery on November 29.

They allegedly held a woman at gunpoint, stealing $700, two Heineken 6-packs ($55.20), a $1800 Samsung phone, two phones ($550), and a $100 wallet.

Facing charges, the duo appeared before the All Saints Magistrate’s court, with a committal hearing set for February 7.

Alphonse is additionally charged with assaulting a Scotts Hill businessman on November 23, robbing him of a $10,000 Honda Stepwagn, $800 cash, and a $600 Samsung Galaxy phone.

The extended charges against Alphonse include battery and malicious damage.

The businessman was ambushed, robbed, and abandoned at Shell Beach after resisting disclosing his home’s location due to concerns for his child’s safety.

  1. So this Alphonse is involved in a lot of the robbries taking place in this country, apparently he does not want to work. He should be jail for life, where he can sit there and never have to work for the rest of his life.

    • imagine that low life coming from st lucia to Antigua to steal kill and destroy
      deport him after his imprisonment

  2. No jail time for gun toting robbers and murderers. Just tie a 12 inch cement block around their neck, drive them out 25 miles between Antigua and Barbuda, throw them overboard and leave them to swim back to shore.
