On January 16th, 2024, H.E. Abdullah Muhammad Alsaihani became the first accredited Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Antigua and Barbuda after presenting his Letters of Credence to H.E. Sir Rodney Williams, Governor General.
Following his presentation at Government House, Ambassador Muhammad Alsaihani paid a courtesy call to Minister Greene who warmly welcomed him to Antigua and Barbuda and emphasized the significance of this occasion.
During his speech, Minister Greene expressed his gratitude to the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their financial support towards the University of the West Indies Five Islandโs Expansion Project, as well as the additional grant received for the development of educational facilities.
Also present at the meeting was H.E. Aubrey Webson and Permanent Secretary Ambassador Liverpool, who took the opportunity to expound on details of the 4th International SIDS Conference.
Ambassador Muhammad Alsaihani expressed his pleasure to be in Antigua and Barbuda and vowed to work diligently to improve relations.
