Director “Kentae” Semper Leaves a Void at Central Board of Health

Antigua and Barbuda mourns the sudden and untimely passing of Mr. “Kentae” Semper, affectionately known as “Rastaman Kentae,” who served as a dedicated Director of the Central Board of Health.
Director Semper, a passionate advocate for the well-being of the board’s workers, attended his final meeting on Thursday, November 30th, radiating energy and excitement.
His contributions and interventions during the meeting were marked by a deep commitment to ensuring the inclusion of the board’s employees in the upcoming Christmas celebrations. Director Semper’s passing has left the Central Board of Health in shock, as he was actively engaged in several projects aimed at enhancing the lives of the workers.
Winston Williams, Chairman of the Central Board of Health, expressed the collective sorrow of the board and extended gratitude to Mr. Semper’s family for his dedicated service. In a statement, Chairman Williams said, “May his life remind us of what selfless service reflects, and may he continue to rest in God’s presence. Jah Rastafari.”
The Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party also shared their grief over the loss of Comrade Albert “Kentae” Semper.
In a message from the party’s leadership, heartfelt sympathy was extended to Mr. Semper’s family and friends during this difficult time. The party hopes that his soul finds eternal peace.
The passing of Director Semper leaves a void not only within the Central Board of Health but in the hearts of those who knew him.

Truly a well loved and admired person who lived a very active life. Was a respected community activist, a sport enthusiast, a social and political analyst, a fashion enthusiast and an ace electrician among other things. A remarkable guy was Rastaman Kentae and he is gonna be sadly missed. Condolences to his family and to the many persons whose lives he touched.
@Audley Phillip: I definitely endorse your sentiments. He was a very confident person which many may perceive him to be a boast person. His lifestyle was all about ” What you see is what get….”. He was very straight forward person who says things as sees it. To keep up with the current affairs he enjoys getting into debates and tries to prove to his opponents that he has the facts and regardless of any heated disagreements, he never held any animosity towards anyone. Kentae has left a legacy in his own way. I will be surprise to hear if Kentae had an enemy. He was a friend to all. He will never be forgotten. As a very close friend of my family and an ardent supporter of my daughter, the Doctor, his former girlfriend’s (Karen) God daughter, he will be greatly missed by us. RIP Kentae! Your job on this earth is completed. May your soul find perpetual piece!!

I’m in a complete state of disbelief. Just 2 days before his untimely passing i viewed his Radio Show and he challenged fellow Host Ne Greenaway that the next Show he would be the Show’s Guest on the topic of disabled persons. A Renaissance Man who wore multiple Hats. Rest well King Kente !! 😥 🙏

This is a shock. So sudden. Just last Saturday he hailed me up at the Bus station and now he’s gone. Just goes to show how fickle life is, here today and gone tomorrow. My heart felt condolences to all his family and loved ones. I still can’t believe he’s gone. Last Saturday he looked so full of life. Wow!
