ABLP Barbuda Candidate Kendra Beazer Calls for ‘Leadership That Listens’ Ahead of April 30 Vote

BARBUDA, Antigua and Barbuda, April 13, 2026 — Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) candidate Kendra Beazer is calling for what he describes as more responsive leadership in Barbuda, telling supporters that the upcoming general election presents an opportunity to secure stronger representation for the island.

Speaking at a political meeting in Barbuda, Beazer declared that “enough is enough,” arguing that residents deserve leadership that delivers tangible results.

“Barbudans deserve leadership — leadership that listens, leadership that delivers,” he said.

Beazer thanked supporters for backing his candidacy and pledged to advocate consistently on behalf of the community.

“I vow to represent your best interests at every point in this journey,” he said.

Positioning himself as a known figure within the community, Beazer added, “Everybody knows Kendra Beazer… but what you cannot take from me is my ability to serve my community.”

He urged voters to focus on their own interests when casting ballots on April 30.

“Remember that you’re voting for your interests and the interests of your community,” he said. “You are electing a representative to look out for your best interests, not somebody that is going to look out for their self.”

Beazer described his campaign as a grassroots-driven effort and a “labor movement for the people of Barbuda,” built on unity and community development.

“Our manifesto is centered on people and the place of Barbuda… we’re not a platform of division… we’re a people of love, of community and resilience,” he said.

A key theme of his remarks was the need for stronger advocacy for Barbuda at the national level, particularly within Cabinet.

“We are going to send somebody in Cabinet to speak on the issues of Barbuda,” he said. “The one-size-fits-all don’t work… that is our message, a Barbuda-first message.”

He also criticized his opponent’s record, claiming there has been little progress over an extended period.

“If my opponent would be honest enough with himself, he would walk away… understanding that he has served 7,500 days in government and nothing substantial to show for the people of Barbuda,” Beazer said.

Closing his remarks, Beazer called on supporters to mobilize ahead of election day.

“On the 30th of April, you will get your opportunity to elect a representative that represents your interests,” he said.

    So you want the renaissance or rebirth of Gaston tactics to sell off all the beach front lands to white people under a new mandate?
    Anyway you are not barbudans blogging you are just a Gaston fanatic, and this may even be Gaston blogging under different names.
    Black people are the onliest race that still want shiny things and mirrors that they fooled our ancestors with in Africa instead a land and resources and technology.

  5. Barbuda don’t have no land. All lands (except where privately and legally owned) are vested in the CROWN. It does not matter whether you believe and/or accept this TRUTH or not. Hopefully the majority will REJECT the BPM BRAINWASHING this time around and vote for the ABLP Candidate, Mr. Kendra Beazer.

    If you do not have the DULY LEGALIZED DOCUMENT to show ownership, then you do NOT own any land. The offer for XCD$1.00 still stands for those who want LEGAL OWNERSHIP of CROWN Land.

  6. Must be in the sea barbudans live since Barbuda na have no land. You bitter and blind antiguans who very well know how hard it is to acquire a proper piece of land in Antigua without paying with your soul. With how difficult it is you people really pushing this agenda because you want the same fate for barbudans right? Since you can’t have it, the people who’s had rights to it their entire lives shouldn’t? No wonder the country is in the state that it’s in. It’s because of people like you who are willing to fight down something that benefits someone else just because it doesn’t benefit you. And the sad part is, all of you who are up in arms about Barbuda’s land, haven’t set foot on the island even once to see what it’s like and what we are trying to protect. Instead you stay from the comfort of your home and come up with some idea of how y’all believe Barbuda should be run. Barbudans know you Antiguans hate that they can acquire lands for free (for it is their birthright) while Antigua is being sold to the highest bidders. Still we stand indifferent towards your hate and your twisted ideals. Barbudans will continue to fight for their rights, weather or not a court says we own the land or not, we will fight for it. Because this is our little piece of paradise, and our ancestors would roll over in their graves if we stand by and allow these bullies to take away what belongs to the people of Barbuda!
