Kendra Chimberlain Beazer Appointed as Just Transition Specialist for UNOPS

Kendra Chimberlain Beazer, a seasoned environmental advocate and former elected official from Barbuda, has been appointed as a Just Transition Specialist for the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).

In this role, Beazer will leverage his extensive experience in sustainable development, climate change resilience, and policy design to support UNOPS’ efforts in facilitating a just transition from fossil fuels to green energy.

Beazer’s appointment comes at a critical juncture as the global community works towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and mitigating the impacts of climate change.

His expertise, gained through his education at the University of Oxford, Lehigh University, and the University of the West Indies, as well as his practical experience in government and advocacy, will be invaluable in guiding UNOPS’ initiatives.
