Leon Hawkins Jr. will face trial later this year on a charge that he killed his brother more than three years ago.
The court has set a trial date of October 9 when Hawkins appeared before Justice Collin Williams Friday morning.
Prosecutors allege the defendant killed his 32-year-old brother Kareem Santiago during an altercation on March 13, 2020.
The incident happened outside a pre-school in York’s Village where both men resided.
