Julian Piper Makes History as UWI Five Islands’ First Computer Science Graduate

Julian Andrew Piper achieved a significant academic milestone by becoming the first graduate from the School of Science, Computing, and Artificial Intelligence at the University of the West Indies (UWI) Five Islands.

He received his Bachelor of Science (Computer Science with Management) on October 7 after completing three years of rigorous coursework.

Julian is now considering pursuing a master’s degree, with options including Cybersecurity or Project Management.

He emphasized the continuous learning aspect of the field and advised future students to expect change and maintain dedication.

Julian, 22, attended St Joseph’s Academy and Antigua State College before enrolling at UWI’s Five Islands campus.
