The Jolly Beach Resort reopened to guests as of Monday of this week.
Over 100 rooms are ready at this point, following an intensive 8-week renovation exercise at the iconic property.
Operators say there are strong bookings for the weeks and months ahead.
The Government acquired the property after it was shuttered in 2020, and recently made available close to 13 million dollars for the payment of severance and other entitlements to former employees.
It is being seen as another major boost to the country’s tourism offerings as the rebound continues from the COVID-19 pandemic. (State Media)
