An automotive dealership is seeking an Automotive Salesperson responsible for selling cars, trucks and vans for personal and commercial use.

The individual should be self-motivated, driven and possess adequate and appropriate social skills.

The main duties and responsibilities are:

• Greeting customers arriving at the dealership
• Making customers feel welcome and supported through the car-purchasing process.
• Obtain an understanding of customer’s needs,
• Showcase the dealership’s vehicles and explain their features and warranties to customers
• Answer customer questions about vehicles
• Accompany customers on test drives
• Prepare sales documents

The successful applicant should also:

• Be customer service oriented
• Have a welcoming and friendly demeanor
• Have sufficient knowledge of the vehicles carried by the dealership
• Be intuitive to anticipate which cars will appeal to different customers
• Be actively listening, to best determine a customer’s wants and needs
• Skills of persuasion to close deals
• Have the confidence to create a positive impression on customers
• Contribute to the dealership’s marketing and promotional initiatives
• Be able to work as a team player
• Be computer literate
• Have a passion for vehicles
• Have a valid driver’s license

Education

Passes of at least 5 CXC subjects including Mathematics and English Language or an Associate degree.
