Jo-Anna Gasper has made history as the first Antiguan to participate in the prestigious LEAP programme in Jersey.
The LEAP programme focuses on empowering young women by honing their business, entrepreneurial, and leadership skills.
Participants collaborate in international teams to develop and present social enterprise projects tackling global challenges. The programme features workshops, lectures, and mentorship from global leaders, culminating in a “Dragon’s Den” style pitch competition.
Gasper proudly represented Antigua and Barbuda, accompanied by Deputy Director of Education, Dr. E. Jonah Greene.
