In a swift turn of events, a man named Jermain Julian has been sentenced to 8 months in prison for stealing a water pump and pressure tank worth $3000.
A few days earlier he got away with stealing two packs of chewing gum.
The stolen pump was reported by the owner, who noticed signs of forced entry into the storage room.
Police reviewed CCTV footage, leading to the arrest and admission of guilt by Julian and accomplice Voneal Valentine.
Both defendants received the same prison sentence for the larceny charges.
