St John’s, Antigua, March 28th 2024- It is with regret that we announce the
cancellation of the highly anticipated 2024 Jaycees Queen Show, scheduled for
July 31st 2024. Despite our commitment to hosting this esteemed event,
unforeseen circumstances have compelled us to make this difficult decision.
The Jaycees Queen Show has long been a cherished tradition, bringing together
our community in celebration of talent, grace, and camaraderie during our
carnival festivities for 60 strong years.
We understand that this news may be disappointing, and we share in your
disappointment. Please know that this decision was not made lightly, and it was
made with the best interests of all involved in mind.
In light of this cancellation, we are exploring alternative ways to recognize and
honor the talent and dedication of our participants. Details regarding any event in
the future will be communicated in due course. Together, we remain steadfast in
our commitment to fostering unity, resilience, and positivity.

WHY was it cancelled?! Can’t believe you can’t tell us!
all those words but nothing on the reason why it’s cancelled, not postponed. ummmm
Don’t worry a serious country like: St Kitts, St Lucia, or even Barbados will take it. Just waiting to hear other shows are cancelled as well. Already Musicians and Artists are saying they will withhold their services unless they are paid up from 2019 to 2023.
Antigua is dying……….
What could have caused this? Something exciting should replace that night’s event. Drue’s Day is also canceled. Two great events.

@ Dave Ray … druesday is cancelled because the man who puts in the event has passed away … it was not a nationally staged event . It was an even held and financially I taken solely by Ricardo Drue .. so to mention it wil jaycees as if it there was a choice to cancel it doesn’t make sense .. it’s not the same thing. Let that man rest in peace .. let somebody else in Antigua have an event .. it is no more … and his family doesn’t want anyone using his name and legacy thank you
