The Reverend Al Miller is rejecting mounting calls for him to return the national award, the Order of Distinction, which was recently conferred on him by the Government of Jamaica.

This as the clergyman ignited a firestorm over the weekend when he urged the government to halt the vaccination of the nation’s children against COVID-19.

Reverend Miller says he’s not daunted by naysayers.

Reverend Miller had falsely claimed that the Pzifer vaccine is an experimental drug.

The vaccine received full approval by the US based Food and Drug Administration on Monday.

It had undergone significant trial testing previously and has widely been used to vaccinate adults in the United States.

Jamaica began vaccinating children using the vaccine on the weekend.

Reverend Miller says the government is free to withdraw the national honour if it so chooses.
