  1. Well if this story is accurate as reported, I would have dealt with him.
Me nar cary home no blo gee fu-me wife neither am I taking any blows to the police station.

So I would have been sorry for his ass if it was me he slap.

They want people to be afraid of them. They take their aggression, bad behavior and criminality everywhere in the world they go.

  2. LMAO and Jamaicans have the heart to wonder why people do not want them in Antigua. Their actions speak for themselves, they are loud, unruly, unpleasant, law-breaking and lack respect for authority. Slapping a police officer? This person must be out of their mind.

I have even heard Jamaicans say that the government needs to send their countrymen home. Those that want to live peacefully are suffering from association with their criminal counterparts. Put his a** in 1735 and send him home immediately thereafter.

  3. Right now d man rather 5 years prison for d slap instead of going back cuz he no maybe he na spend so much alive if he go back so can’t blame him its away of staying alive longer

  4. Something is seriously amiss here! At first, I though that question, Where was he being deported to? to be totally asinine. Back to Jamaica of course! But then it seems to be the question of the day with the response, To Antigua of course! This story smells fishy to say the least. The man, about to be deported from our shores, is to be detained further to answer charges of battery on police!!! That would-be deportee literally BOUGHTtime to remain in Antigua. You can bet that he will soon “escape from prison authorities”, never to foung again! Is Antigua a real place?

  5. The Attorney General quickly tabled a law in Parliament when the gang issues became a threat to national security.
The two female Jamaican migrants; one of whom assaulted an immigration officer, got a slap in the wrist.
If they were thrown in jail for 3 years by the judge, it’s unlikely this deportee would have done the same.
In his mind they got away with a small fine for assaulting an officer of the law, and so will he.
The Attorney General has to act quickly with severe punishment, for these type of assaults before this becomes a pattern.

  6. The Dude is a criminal, why wasn’t he handcuffed before entering the Squad Vehicle? Why it had to take an assault on the Cop, subdued, and then cuffed? 😥These levels of policing defies all logical comprehension. 😢😳😥😩

  7. Why the sudden rise in physical altercations between Jamaican nationals and immigration personnel and their subsequent deportation? Recent news reports would suggest that in recent times there has been a significant increase in conflicts between Jamaicans nationals and immigration personnel. I am surprised that the Jamaican Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as the regional/local Consul General hadn’t stepped in to bring some clarity and sensibility to this situation which can cause some tension between St. John’s and Kingston.

  8. Gonna take more than prayer! Prayer without action is useless! I suggest we get started on fixing our problems instead of waiting on God to intervene!!!🤨

  9. See why we need the mighty hand of God to bless and protect this island from the countless demons that live among us?. My God and Father, hear our prayer; and let our cry come unto Thee! Amen.

  10. Jamaicans seem to love Jamaica but thought of living there seem to terrify them.

Jamaicans are afraid of going to Jamaica, and will do anything not to return. Living at 1735 is better option than to live in Jamaica. WOW

  11. I really believe this guy don’t want to go back home. Who knows, maybe his life will be in danger. Don’t know if there is a process for asylum but slapping the officer is not the right way.

  12. Just like the woman them Jamaican believe Antigua and barbuda 🇦🇬 is fo them ,remember that line in a movie ratty me a send u a foreign he ratty foreign way cappun Antigua and barbuda 🇦🇬

  14. jamaica is so nice but uno fraid to go back a yard out are we third world country all now you would have get something to go back home with punk. we are paradise

  15. All some of them are doing, is showing everyone why Antiguans have very legitimate reasons to dislike or from their point of view “hate” them. I highly doubt any Antigua could dare slap a Jamaican policeman and subsequently wouldn’t have to be treated by a health care provider.

  16. There is no consulate in atigua for jamaican do your research before you talk . The Jamaican high commissioner in Trinidad runs this region

  17. So learn from the situation with the woman, don’t go easy on him, send a clear and very strong message.this type of behavior will not be tolerated period … Peter pay for Paul and Paul pay for every f….ing body.
What is now becoming evident is that we need to stand together and protect our nation…
A few years ago when Trinidad expelled Jamaicans from their country , I actually thought that was harsh considering it’s another Caribbean country but I now understand why…
    Enough is enough.

  18. He did it,so he could stay in Antigua longer. He could be sent to Prison, free food and lodging for months/years.You tink,he trupit.

  19. This is so sad to see how our people are so harsh with each other. Whoever the person is needs to be charge for what they did but should never be deported. Many of us have lived abroad and would like some grace at times. I don’t know the family but I beg to give them a chance. Aren’t we Children of God?

  20. @ Audley Phillip
Please understand that the Jamaican government enjoys the fact that many of their people leave Jamaica to to earn a living in Antigua and Barbuda.
Jamaicans with skills and professionals and are willing to work. Their migration to Antigua is a god send to the Jamaican economy. The Antigua and Barbuda wages on a US dollar basis are 6 times higher that they dream of earning in Jamaica.
The exchange value of the JA currency tells some of the story that props up their foreign exchange.
The semi-skilled Jamaicans who are willing to work are similarly employed; many making more than professionals in Jamaica.
The only reason why Jamaican Government had a thing to say about the young man dot dead by the police not to long ago; it because he made himself out as a tick-tock star.
Logic says if he was such a sensation, why was he involved with armed robbery.
Nothing but a depraved low life thug, is a celebrity whose welfare they are concerned about.
The majority of Jamaicans in Antigua and Barbuda arrives with an aggressive attitude and social behavior which Antiguan and Barbuda and the Eastern Caribbean for that matter finds offensive and abrasive.

The majority of Jamaican migrants to Antigua are like termites.
These are individuals who the Jamaica Government wants out of Jamaica
This larger group of migrants unskilled and semi illiterate Jamaican tarnishes the remaining few upright Jamaicans who deserves our goodwill as Caribbean people.
By and large they are not in a state of mind that they as guests in another country. Their obnoxious behavior of “I can do and say anything I want” is the source of resentment towards them.
This group arriving in increasing numbers whose migrant status facilitated by our ABLP Government take pride in refusing to conform to the behavior and cultural norms of the host country.
So long as the remittance keep pouring in to Jamaica from Antigua and Barbuda all is well as far as their Government is concern.

    @ Born jamaican
Your Government have little interest in your welfare. I hope you are not among those whose crass behavior is having an adverse impact on what has been Antigua and Barbuda.

  21. Weeping and knashing of teeth get rid of all Jamaican you suffer because you never leave the the hole your in like a crab . The good jamaican came here and build your economy what you do .I agree that there are some bad elements get rid of them and stop mix people who help build this country and I respect your flag with honor respect mine ….

  22. Many of your children study in Jamaica. When sick or serious condition use Bustamante children hospital the best in the region but what we have we share with you all and you all turn around like judas and curse us. Put God in your life

  23. @BornJamaican, Antiguans don’t study in Jamaica for FREE. Even Jamaicans living in Antigua gets scholarships from Antigua to study in their own country. They receive the same amounts $$ as Antigua even though their tuition are less, being Jamaicans.
Antiguans also do not receive Free healthcare in Jamaica. Our country wasn’t broken when you got here. Your contribution to Antigua’s economy is not more than what other foreigners would have contributed if you weren’t here. Some of you got Antiguan passports that afforded you easier access to places like the USA. So, y’all benefit from being in Antigua too
It’s not a one sided affair.

  24. I didn’t know that Antigua passport could take you to the USA. Then I’m stupid I have Antigua passport and went to get a visa in my Jamaican passport. Never know I didn’t need a visa. Stupid asshole

  25. @Proud Jamaican, The USA had a quota of the amount of Jamaicans they would grant Visa’s too. Having an Antiguan passport enen though you are Jamaican exempted you from that quota. I know what I’m talking about. If you wasn’t a dumb fuck you would have noticed I wrote easier access NOT that you don’t need a visa. Me lib and wuk dey so me know merican na want too much ah aru BBC dey –you comment shows why.
And the asshole is you, dutty John crow!
    Goh suck you maddah!
