JAHKEEM BROWNE’S DEATH TREATED AS HOMICIDE

St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda — Thursday, April 17, 2025
The police have officially confirmed that the death of 27-year-old Jahkeem Browne is being treated as a homicide, following the outcome of a recent forensic investigation.
An autopsy conducted on Wednesday, April 16, revealed that the Fort Road resident died as a result of gunshot wounds. Jahkeem Browne body was discovered on the morning of Sunday, March 24, at the site of the former Bruce’s Night Club in Hatton. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have since intensified their investigations and are actively pursuing all leads surrounding the circumstances of his death.
Anyone with information surrounding this incident is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913, or call the anonymous Crimestoppers hotline at 800-TIPS (8477). All information will be handled with the strictest confidence.

I strongly believe he was randomly selected to test the fire power of an illegal weapon. He was a very harmless guy if he does approach anyone begging for a dollar etc he normally seems very shy or nervous. Condolences to his family and loved ones

Hey Rovi……Hope your crummy day gets better at some point and why would you think such of me? I gave my honest opinion on what I believe has happened..I could be wrong but he never gave me the impression that he is aggressive or a trouble maker. It just seems to me like the investigation on this murder just started and if that’s the case this murder as like so many in the past will never be solve. Am quite sure a proper forensic investigation was not carried out because of the deceased individual lifestyle, don’t even know if we have a full forensic investigating team on the force.
