Back in March, Sheer Rocks announced that they were sponsoring an Antiguan team of rowers in the 2023 Monkey Fist Atlantic Dash.
A nation-wide search for Antigua’s best candidates took place and the final team, who will be rowing the Atlantic and representing Antigua and Barbuda has now been selected
Our fantastic Antiguan team, who have called themselves Dadli Explorers, are hard at work, training for their upcoming challenge.
This week they spent the morning with our owner and managing partner, Mr. Rocks, chatting about their row. Keep an eye on our social media get to know them a little better!

NO NAMES?
Bitch you’re still stalking me? Be original! It’s more rewarding than stealing! Then again, theft by any means necessary seems to bolster your #nuffness!
Be original and stop trying to clone my dick!
Has Monkey Fist Dash taken over from the Tallisker Atlantic Challenge?
Agree @ Ras smood… Weird to introduce the team without naming them.
Hi Stay Alert,
My name is Billy Taylor and I am one of the co-founders of the Atlantic Dash.
The names of the crew are
Danny Perez
Terriqua Christopher
Maurice Valentine
Camberya Akaya Barkoye
The short is answer is no, we are not taking over the Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge!
The Dash is a new event, with the first one taking place next year and the finish line will be at Jolly Harbour. We are focusing on giving people an opportunity to have the experience of rowing an ocean without the competitive element of it being a race.
I have rowed the Atlantic 3 times and we love Antigua and the people who who live on her, so have committed to working with Sheer Rocks and giving a free entry into the event to a team from Antigua every year.
The Dadli Explorers will be the youngest crew to row any ocean and they are working with the Sports and education minister Daryl Matthew to be able to visit the schools on island when they get back and talk about their experiences, inspiring other young adults and demonstrating what can be achieved with teamwork and determination.
I have been working closely with the crew for the last 3 months to help them get to the start line in the Canary Islands.
They need as much support as Antigua can give them so please feel free to give them a follow on Instagram and Facebook!!
Billy
