Surveillance footage has captured two individuals setting fire to a home in All Saints Village early Sunday morning, leaving a family displaced and facing significant losses.
The fire, which started shortly after 1 a.m., quickly spread, engulfing two wooden structures. One home was completely destroyed, while the other sustained extensive damage. The blaze also consumed two vehicles parked nearby according to state media.
Security cameras in the area recorded the moment the suspects approached the property and set one of the houses ablaze. The All Saints Fire Department responded swiftly but was only able to save one of the structures.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the arson and are appealing to the public for any information that could help identify the perpetrators.

One of the heads of CID does not believe in releasing video footage to the public. According to his archaic way of investigation the release of the footage will interfere with the investigations. There has to be someone in Antigua who could recognize these criminals even in total darkness. I say release the footage and let the public say who they are. Surveillance footage of individuals trespassing and stealing yellow coconuts and mangoes in Swetes..this is why some people just go missing and get shot smh…not promoting senseles acts of violence but some people need to be made an example..yall too like people things see..
