7. All of these persons will be in some way contributing payroll tax, they will be contributing just like every other worker. MBS, Social and Levy.

   Sell as many work permits as possible. There isnt exactly a influx of immigrants due to no airlines from other caribbean island . Income will be generated by them having work, paying taxes, consuming goods .. the money will accelerate . Money velocity .. thats how fast money goes in the economy, more people spending the faster the money moves the more turn it gets and faster wealth is created. 9. Antiguans people doesn’t know how to work properly, we need foreign people to upgrade the island , Apua’s electrician are completely sucks , they don’t know what they suppose to do , the best builders in Antigua are foreign company , Antigua public works doesn’t work at all …

12. many of times i see where immigration fees have imposed on us as non nationals ,but yet still our salary are increase,the unions are not defending us,even though some of us are paying unions dues,and at moment alot of us are not working because of the corona virus situation,I think the Labour department should reconsider this fee increase on non nationals……

17. As an expat I have been in Antigua for a few years, managing a small buisness. When the business opened before i was here a few years ago we hired Antiguan managers to run it and it didnt work, we had to let them go. We opted to have an expat run the buisness, now the buisness is extremaly succesfull to a point that it created 5 job positions where we have hired Antiguans and we are on the mission to keep it that way by giving proper trainning, motivation and community involment. We belive that it all resides on creating a culture of good buisness ethics. As an expat I dont expect any Favoritism but fair treatment. I understand that fees and work permits are for us to pay, in my case just to clear the confussion . work permit fee : $10ec , lawyers fee$700-800 ec , work permit $7000 ec. So my yearly expense in work permit puts me around the $8000. ec per year, which gives me the opportunity to be here and create jobs.

A LOT OF YOU MEN HATE NONE NATIONAL BE YOU LOOSE YOUR WOMAN TO JAMAICAN GUYANESE, & SPANISH MEN BUT WE NONE NATIONAL CONTRIBUTE TO THE ECONOMY THAN MOST OF YOU ANTIGUANS.
