  1. The only thing I would add to what Mr Lovell is saying, is that, now is the time for the workers in the country to pursue their wage increases (especially those that are owed back pay).

With an election imminent, you’ll never EVER get a better opportunity.

You know in your heart of hearts, if you don’t do it now, and say the ABLP win again, they’ll revert to their usual promises of bluster and u-turns.

STRIKE (pardon the pun) WHILE THE ELECTION IRON IS HOT HOT HOT …🔥

    • Look at this fool supporting a joker who could not even pay public sectors worker, contractor nor pensioners on time. Harold Lovell forgot when he was paying people on the 10th 15th and at one point the 20th!!!

        • Chups, you say dark days. So you days bright now? If God was like man, your tongue would swell in your head for the lies you utter. Vagabond.

      • At least he was paying them. But this government has not paid them for years and couldn’t care less about black people. He backra friends get paid on time.

  2. This guy Harold Lovell has some nerve…… When the UPP government was paying public servants their monthly salaries on the 8th, and 15th of the next month, not a drum was heard! The less Lovell says, the better for him!

  3. Harold is not as bad as when the ALP prior to 2004 could not pay workers.

The economy was at a stand still, it had grounded to a halt. He is right, if you claim we are operating under an economic powerhouse then pay the ordinary workers. You cannot have it both ways. It’s either an Economic Power House or an Economic Poor House. Choose ye this day.

  4. What are these stooges talking about? Late payment is not the only issue that we are experiencing so comment on the other issues, to include water, fuel cost and inflation ,generally.

    • Harold lovell raised Gas price for the 1st time in Antigua above the $16 mark-
UPP couldn’t supply water to the public – they owed Sepcorp $22 million dollars for water distribution without credit TERMS(which means they just couldn’t pay)
All this was happening when Harold Lovell and UPP was COLLECTING Personal Income Tax.
Highest Electricity bills we have ever paid in Antigua’s history was paid under UPP and they still owed APC and more than $80 million dollars to WIOC for fuel used for ELECTRICITY GENERATION at APC and otherwise….
      What y’all think we forgot?

  5. This man Harold Lovell is desperate for power. I was in a conversation with a UPP supporter and he said outrightly that the thinking is that if they ain’t get power now it ain’t go happen again in a long time.
