(Dashboard Update for September 28, 2021)
The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre revealed one hundred and six (106) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Thursday 23rd September 2021 at 6pm.
Eighty-three (83) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre and one hundred and sixty-five (165) at CARPHA.
Ninety-four (94) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to one thousand nine hundred and seventy-six (1976).
Twelve (12) Covid-19 related deaths were recorded between September 23rd and 27th increasing the total to seventy-six (76).
Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is three thousand and twenty-nine (3,029); which is inclusive of nine hundred and eighty-six (986) active cases.
There are fifty-two (52) hospitalized cases; twenty-four (24) mild, eighteen (18) moderate and ten (10) severe.
Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated forty one thousand seven hundred and sixty-three (41,763) individuals while eight thousand six hundred and forty-eight (8 648) have only received their first dose.
The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

It seems like the more people are been vaccinated, the more covid cases we have. Can somebody please explain that to me?
This is because the vaccinated are shedding the spiked proteins. Their bodies literally are manufacturing the virus and causing the virus to mutate.
