House of Representatives Speaker Sir Gerald Watt QC made a ruling that questions regarding the shareholding and other details about the West Indies Oil Company’s sale of a building involving the Prime Minister’s son were out of order.

The WIOC properties were handed over to Gaston’s son under a “NO MONEY DOWN” with a deferred mortgage arrangement. No payment until DCA starts paying.
2. DCA pays to renovate the property and recoup the cost to renovate by not paying rent for a few months
3. Gaston’s son IF Corporation becomes the owner with the tenant covering the mortgage
4. This effectively means that Gaston’s son gets the building without paying for them.
Why would the Speaker allow the details to be leaked to the public in Parliament?

Why is anyone surprised at this? The 1000 Watt bulb lost its luminescence long, long time ago. Surprised he made it to parliament on time. Folks, this man needs to be put out to pasture before he does any further damage and drag our parliament down to uncharted levels of dishonorable.

Questions about the ill doings at West Indies Oil are out of order. So Gerry,because you say so does not make it so.In my opinion,in most Democratic Countries.That”chit” would have hit the fan.Where you have the wife of the Prime Minister.Who is a Minister of Cabinet in his ADMINISTRATION. She is on West Indies Oil Board and a Substantive Minister.Her husband’s son is the owner of a Company that bought buildings form West Indies Oil.Those Buildings sales were not made Public.Then our PUBLIC FUNDS were used to renovate said buildings.Then those buildings were rented by the Ministry of the Prime Minister’s wife from his son Company.The Prime Minister did say say.The Government is not going to pay any rent for those properties for 1 Year.The rent was paid in advanced with the renovations money.How much were those building worth before and after those renovations made? There in lies the issue.I cannot wait to see Father,Wife and Son being dragged off to Hotel 1735 bound in hands and ankles chains.

I am surprised at the contrived way in which UPP MPs and the Party approach this issue in Parliament. But I am not surprised at this stunt pulled by Gerry Watt, Gastón Brown and Cutie Benjamin. This was planned by all three of them.
I am surprised at the fact that the UPP Members of Parliament were not prepared for this and was totally caught off guard.
Gerry Watt was wrong and because Gaston knew what Gerry watts planned to do he too was ready.
West Indies Oil Corporation is not a private company. Period. It’s a Public Benefit Corporation. It’s a quasi-government entity.
The fact that WIOC should have been their leading statement before they post their question. Should Gerry Watt claim ignorance they should have had all their reference.
Knowing the Government would not answer their questions would provide the opportunity to show the public without any doubt they are hiding.
A uniformed public is now concluding. Oh, it’s not a government company! UPP blew this opportunity, but they are others.
This is not a dead issue by any means. Thet need to be better prepared.
