House of senior police officer being searched

The home of a senior police officer is being searched at this moment according to reports reaching Antigua News Room.

The search is allegedly in connection with a passport fraud case in which the officer may have information that can help police in their investigation.

Residents reported seeing police officers and members of the K9 Unit at the home of the officer this morning.

It was reported earlier this week that police officers in St. Vincent are investigating the passport racket which involves Antigua and Barbuda passports.

It is alleged that in addition to the senior police officer, two senior civil servants may also have information that can assist the probe.

Police here say they have not received any official correspondence from St. Vincent in connection with their investigation.

  1. So once again the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda is in the spotlight and not for anything positive. It is a real shame that these few men makes and entire organization looks so bad because they cannot control their greed and loust. The younger officers must be so ashamed to put on the uniform knowing what the public thinks of the the Police Force and the conduct of the top brass. Smh I do hope the Force can heal and rebuild after all these scandals and allegations.

  4. It’s amazing how the Antiguan Public pronounce you guilty without an official report of wrong doing and without even a thorough investigation. Hold your head up Ray…you’re the best Cop to grace our shores. You have done so much for this force and Antigua. We are supporting you ALL THE WAY!!! We all know who is behind this.   11. Since Antigua & Barbuda is not fully independance from the British, I believed an outside investigator like Scotland Yard or the FBI should be brought in to handle this matter. Having them work along the Antigua and Barbuda Police Force. Then we will really know how corrupt the ABPF is from the finding results.
